Kolonides Beach
Very close to Koroni, amidst a magnificent green landscape, there is a wonderful beach, Kolonides. A beautiful place, with sand inside and outside the sea, bathed in crystal clear blue waters. It is a small and quiet beach with easy access from a path. It is unorganized, however there is a hotel almost next door.
Beach of Pseftis
South of the beach of Velikas, in Petalidi you will have the opportunity to enjoy your swim at the famous beach of Pseftis. It is a sweet, small beach with small pebbles and sand while its waters are crystal clear. It is not organized, but very close by there are several shops from which you can get everything you want for your bathroom.
Kantouni beach
Kaduni beach is a wonderful sandy beach with wild beauty, as its bottom is dominated by large rocks that you can explore during your dives. It is very close to Finikounda and is an excellent destination for those who love free swimming. For this very reason, we recommend that you get the essentials for your bathroom in advance.
Kritika Beach
A little further from the campsite of Methoni you will discover the beach of Kritika. This particular beach is famous for its wonderful sunset as it overlooks the castle of Methoni and honestly it is magical! It has fine sand and fairy-tale waters, while a little further up a small canteen can offer you everything you need.
Koumbares Beach
Very close to Mavrovouni in the direction of Methoni, is the relatively isolated beach of Koumbares. A hidden gem with relatively easy access as to get there there is a small downhill path that you have to follow from where you leave your vehicle. A fairly quiet beach with pebbles and crystal clear waters.
Selitsa Beach
South of Kalamaki beach you will find Selitsa beach. A beautiful little beach, unorganized, with wonderful sand but also pebbles and terrible waters that remain unforgettable. The beach does not have a canteen, so you will need to stock up on water, coffee and snacks beforehand. Access is done with care as you will need to cross several meters of dirt road to get there.
Ammoudi Beach
Exactly equidistant from Finikounta and Koroni you will find a hidden gem, Ammoudi Beach. As its name suggests, this particular beach, although surrounded by rocks, has wonderful fine sand and crystal clear waters. However, if you decide to visit it, you should have the necessary supplies in advance as it is not organized.
Papa Limni Beach
Very close to Methoni, you will find a wonderful destination that, at first glance, will remind you of the famous beach of Voidokoilia. This shallow circular bay has a narrow mouth which is its deepest point. A gem for those who prefer free swimming as it is not organized, but has wonderful waters and a magnificent coast. If you’re a bit more adventurous, it’s definitely a beach you shouldn’t miss!
Chelonaria Beach
In the area of Chranoi, there is Chelonaria beach which is an ideal destination for everyone. The white fine sand alternates with the fine pebbles and gives a blue-green color to the sea waters. It has beach bars and is organized, but you can spread your mat freely wherever you want if you prefer an unorganized bath!
Sandova Beach
Taking the road to Messinian Mani, 12 kilometers from Kalamata you will come across one of the most cosmopolitan beaches of Messinia. A small beach, with fine sand and many beach bars to choose from. If you like to have fun until the evening then Sandova is one of the best options.
