Divari Beach

Very close to Gialova you will find a 4 km long coast which is also protected by the Natura 2000 protection zone as it is where our beloved caretta-caretta turtles lay their eggs. It has a beautiful sandy beach and wonderful, shallow, blue-green waters, which makes it an ideal choice for families with children. Most of it is a free beach, however for those who wish towards the end, there is an organized part with a beach bar, sunbeds and umbrellas!
Kalamaki Beach

With its characteristic rusty boat, the southernmost beach of Messinia is simply enchanting. Unorganized, with rich natural beauty, deep blue waters, natural shade from the trees and a wonderful sandy beach but also pebbles in various places, Kalamaki beach is truly impressive. Stock up on what you’re going to need in advance as, as we mentioned above, there is no beach bar on the beach.
Peroulia Beach

About 1.5 kilometers of golden sand, gorgeous waters, dense vegetation and just 8 kilometers from Koroni, Peroulia Beach is definitely a beach you don’t want to miss. You can even reach the beach by… elevator! A large part of it is organized, its waters are shallow and it almost never has a wave. So, if you want to enjoy a quiet swim in crystal clear waters, Peroulia beach is the ideal choice.
Beach of Agios Andreas

Close to 40 kilometers from Kalamata, the beach of Agios Andreas is fully organized, with a beach bar, sunbeds, umbrellas. At the same time, its wonderful waters deepen smoothly and it is covered with sand and pebbles, which makes it an ideal choice for families with children.
Chomati Peroulia Beach

With access from the village of Vounaria but also walking along the beach from Peroulia, you will find the exotic beach of Chomati Peroulia. The beach is organized and it would be good to go early, because you won’t find even a single sunbed.
Gargarou Beach

Very close to the village of Harokopio, you will find Gargarou. A very small, pebbly beach, with crystal clear waters that deepen smoothly and great views. It is not organized so it would be good to get the necessary things in advance.
Marathi Beach

Between Finikounda and Koroni, you will come across a small, beautiful almost tropical beach hidden in a bay. It has an incredible sandy beach and enchanting waters. However, access from land is very difficult, which makes it an ideal choice for those with a boat. Stock up on what you need in advance, as there is no organized canteen or beach bar on this wonderful beach.
Agia Triada Beach

Or Lachanou, it is a wonderful beach 3.5 kilometers from Koroni. It got its name from the small church that is on the beach. Its waters are crystal clear and it has powdery sand. However, it is relatively difficult to access, as it is only possible via a path and there is no beach bar, so it is good to get the necessary things in advance. It is an ideal choice for those who don’t want crowds.
Western Kalamata Beach

Between the estuaries of Nedon River and Pamissos River, literally a breath away from Kalamata, you will find a wonderful mesopotamia, the beach of West Kalamata. A beautiful, organized coast where most of it is covered by sand, it is an ideal destination for those who want to enjoy a calm swim in wonderful waters away from the crowds of the area.
