Beach of Methoni
A beach that literally combines everything. Halfway sandy and as you move towards its eastern side it is covered with pebbles. A very beautiful beach, with tamarisk trees for shade which is just what you need for a quiet swim. Just a few meters further is the center of Methoni where you can get everything you need for your bath as the beach does not have a beach bar or cafe.
Mavrovοuni Beach
Just 2 kilometers from Finikounda, the beach of Mavrovouni is a magnet for everyone. Awarded every year with two blue flags, it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the region. Along the beach you will find many beach bars where you can swim in an organized manner but also spread out your mat freely for those who wish to relax a little more quietly. Those who also love water sports will not be disappointed as there are plenty of options to choose from.
Lampes Beach
Somewhere between Methoni and Finikounda you will find Lampes beach, where it is considered ideal for families. Its golden sand and shallow waters are perfect for families who want to enjoy carefree swimming. In Lampes, you can either choose to relax on the sunbeds from the beach bars or spread your mat freely on the sandy beach and enjoy nature and its clear blue waters.
Finikountas Beach
Another ideal destination for families with children, right in front of the settlement of Finikounda. A beautiful beach with turquoise waters, sand and quite shallow could not have been awarded with a blue flag. The countless bars and tavernas along the coast offer you literally everything, almost at your feet!
Artaki Beach
A very beautiful beach that is ideal for all kinds of visitors. In a more general context, Koroni offers countless beach options to enjoy your swim. Fine sand or small pebbles dominate the area as well as the wonderful blue-green waters. Along the coast, you can enjoy your coffee or local delicacies and dishes from the fish taverns of the area.
Loutsa Beach
Or otherwise, Athalassi. It is a special and quiet beach very close to Finikounda, which consists mainly of sand and pebbles. At its bottom, however, it is full of crystal clear pebbles that give it a wild beauty. Along the beach, you will find cafes, beach bars and taverns to satisfy your appetite with delicious local flavors.
Zaga Beach
So close to Koroni and its deep blue waters so wonderful. Zaga beach covers all the needs of its visitors. It is covered by powdery, golden sand and offers a multitude of options from refreshment bars, taverns and cafes where you can either enjoy your bath on their sunbeds, or stock up on what you need and spread your mat undisturbed on its wonderful sandy beach.
Memi Beach
Another beach located very close to Koroni. Memi beach is one of the most organized beaches in the area as, in addition to beach bars, it also has a parking area, a volleyball court, a football field and showers. It has crystal clear waters and a wonderful sandy coast.
Kalogria Beach
Famous almost all over the world for its wonderful waters and for the most famous sunset of Messinia, the beach of Kalogria is one of the most popular destinations. Its white sand combined with its crystal clear but icy waters marry with its beach bars and taverns and create one of the best places to enjoy your swim. Its underwater springs from the waters of Taygetus are responsible for its so clear waters even during the busiest summer months.
Stoupa beach
Or otherwise, the Miami of Mani. Stoupa is one of the most popular beaches in Messinia after Kalogria. It has golden sand and blue-green waters and because underground currents from Taygetos pass here too, the sea is crystal clear regardless of the crowds. Along the entire length of the coastline you will find cafes, beach bars and taverns to drink or eat during your swim.
